Our most recent published article in Elsevier's Mechanics Research Communications that was done by MSMS Group (Igor Berinskii, Artem Panchenko, Daria Orlova) in collaboration with Dr. Sadik Omairey from Brunel Composites Centre (BCC). In this work, we demonstrated a computational implementation of a homogenization method to estimate the effective elastic properties of fibrous bio-inspired metamaterials.
